"Watch out for Shapeshifters"

The last two months (March and April) went by really fast; it's hard to think that I am over 1/3 of the way through my 27 months here. The next few pictures are from Siquijor. The small island is known for its mystical occurrences and supernatural events.  I did not really see anything too weird, but it was well worth the trip to see this pretty little island and the Healing Festival.
Marissa, Alicia, and Ali walking up the mountain.

It was a wee-bit steep.

The beach at the place we were staying in Siquijor.

It was just an average beach as you can see.

This is a picture of Bohol on the way back from Siquijor.

Just one of the many cute little animals that comes in my office every now and then.

This was from a conference on how to zone and plan in your town's municipal waters.  This was toward the end of the workshop, and Geoffrey (our Head of Coastal Law Enforcement) is giving an update on the progress we had made since the last workshop.

Just a table... I thought this was a good use of the macro setting.

This is at a meeting where a community was establishing a new Marine Protected Area. People from our office and the regional Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources were present to help them sort through their paperwork and make sure everything was in order to submit their application.

This is just a chicken.  As you can see, this is a chicken that will not put up with your nonsense.

    1. I forget it's there because the little flower thing has worn off the top of my camera. I feel like I'm succeeding if the camera is set to take pictures instead of video.
